People crowded this large crater in the ground. Every middle school child gathered around the sinkhole. All this chaos happened on the football field at Half of the portables unfortunately fell into it. Kids were harmed in this process. Unfortunately September 11 wasn’t a good day for these kids or their parents. This sinkhole was formed because of the constant rain fall on the football field. That rainfall flooded the field and then caused the sinkhole. Lets all hope that everyone is ok and all the kids that fell into it are okay.

Unfortunately half of these middle school children had broken arms and legs. An excessive amount of ambulances are there. This must have horrifying. The CNN news station interviewed the principle of Lake Windsor middle school. Her name is Mrs. Gates. CNN asked her a few questions down at the news station. What happened and what had happen to the school? She told us “that the above-normal amounts of storm runoff [rain] had caused an underground cavern to form then collapse. When it collapsed, everything on the surface above it collapsed, too in this case, the area of the field that contained portables 16 through 21.” There also was a seventh grade child who wasn’t panicking he told us. He said he was trying to get children out of the sinkhole. This child’s name is Paul fisher.

Many people think Paul Fisher is a hero. In a matter of fact he is. He saved a few peoples lives. A child told us that he thought he was going to die but then he saw Paul Fisher. Paul saved his life. This child who’s name we cant tell, wants to thank Paul. Paul says it wasn’t just him that saved an abundant amount of children. He said that he made a chain with his classmates. so lets consider them all hero’s.

This sinkhole was unfortunate. The constant rainfall created this large monster. middle school had a bad experience. So we all should hope that they can repair this soon.
